Crain's Chicago Business Ranks Ada S. McKinley Community Services as Ninth Largest Charity in Chicago

Chicago, IL--According to the Crain's Chicago Business (February 23, 2004), Ada S. McKinley Community Services, Inc. was ranked the ninth largest Chicago charity in 2003, with a $38.3 million operating budget. McKinley joins 24 other prestigious human services agencies with budgets ranging from $153.9 to $17.6 million in the Crain's List.

The listing includes tax-exempt charitable organizations registered under section 501(c)3 of the U.S. tax code, including national charities with operations in the six-county Chicago area: Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake McHenry and Kane counties.

Founded in 1919 by Ada Sophia McKinley, a pioneer social worker and educator, Ada S. McKinley Community Services, Inc. has grown to become one of Chicago's largest and most effective human services agencies.
